Our hours when working on projects are flexible depending on your needs, subject to availability and operational conditions. Standard office hours are 09:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday. *Emergency service and urgent response requests can be considered 24/7.
Reach Drone Solutions is based in Preston and primarily covers the North West of the UK. Reach is available for national and international projects, subject to additional costs and availability.
Yes. We offer a free initial discussion and no-obligation quote. Tell us what you are hoping to achieve, the location and any timescales involved, and we will recommend a suitable approach and provide a clear price before any work is agreed. Once a quote is provided, this will not change - unless the client requests a change to the scope.
Every project is different. Our quotes consider factors such as operator(s) time, flight time, travel, site complexity, hazards, risk assessment requirements, airspace restrictions, permissions, planning, editing and variations to the desired outcome. This allows us to price the work fairly and safely rather than using a one-price-fits-all approach.
Requirements depend on the location, airspace, take-off and landing area, nearby people, local restrictions and the type of operation. Reach will assess these requirements as part of the planning process and explain any permissions, approvals or limitations before the flight goes ahead.
Drone operations depend on safe weather conditions. High winds, heavy rain, poor visibility or other unsuitable conditions may mean a flight needs to be delayed or rearranged. If weather affects your booking, we will discuss the safest and most practical alternative with you and rearrange at no cost.
This depends on location, availability, weather, airspace and the complexity of the task. Straightforward local work may sometimes be arranged at short notice, while more complex projects may require additional planning or permissions.
Deliverables depend on the service booked. These may include edited photographs, video, 360° imagery, site documentation, visual inspection records, progress imagery, aerial maps or 3D visualisations. The exact deliverables will be agreed with you before the project begins.
Yes. Reach Drone Solutions holds the relevant UK drone registrations and qualifications displayed on our website, including a CAA A2 CofC, Flyer ID and Operator ID, together with appropriate commercial drone insurance. Copies of insurance documents are available to clients on request.
No. All flights must comply with UK drone regulations, airspace restrictions, separation requirements, site conditions, privacy considerations and the pilot's final safety assessment. We will always explain any limitations that affect your project.
Yes, where operationally appropriate. Reach can provide aerial imagery and visual support free of charge when directly requested by a recognised emergency service or rescue organisation, subject to availability, weather, airspace, legal operating limits and operational suitability. These should be requested via phone on 07802702866 to prevent delay, citing a 999 emergency service request.
We can provide high-quality visual evidence of roofs, buildings, structures, solar panels and other suitable assets. We do not provide structural engineering, electrical or thermal diagnosis unless specifically stated. Our role is to provide clear visual information that can support decisions by you or an appropriately qualified professional.
Please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected]. We will always try to accommodate reasonable changes where possible. Any cancellation charges or non-refundable costs will depend on how much planning, travel, permissions or other work has already been completed.
Please contact us at [email protected] with 'complaint' and your reference number as the subject, and explain the issue in your email. Please attach any pictures or additional documents if required. We will review any concern fairly and aim to resolve it promptly. Specifically, we aim to acknowledge any complaint within 48 hours, and complete an investigation and submit a response within 10 working days.
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances, work already completed and any costs already incurred. Where a flight cannot proceed due to weather, airspace restrictions or another safety issue, we will normally discuss rearranging the work or another suitable solution first.
Contact us with as much information as possible about the location, type of work, timescale and what you would like to receive. We will review the requirements and provide a clear quote based on the actual scope of the project.
